WNC 2011 was awesome! I worked with one of the nicest group of people that I have ever met - Suzanne, Edna, Sam, Julie, Judith, Vicki, Tertia, Lyn, Bernie and the local statistians! I am motivatived to be a statistian for other netball events. I want to earn and save up as much as I can to travel around New Zealand.
I felt sad for New Zealand for losing the final by one point! :(

Rooms for Improvement
I have recently started my new job with OCBC Bank (Raffles Place). So far so good. Nice colleagues, learning new stuff. Nonetheless, I feel weird to see myself in office wear. :/
I think I need to be more humble when I talk to others. I think I am getting too sensitive with things and I am being too proud of myself. I should tone down more.
I need to take care of my hygiene too!
Last but not least, I need to be more self-displine and display higher level of commitment towards everything, especially my tutees.

Even since I quitted school, life has revolved round netball and probably only around netball. haha! Took up coaching in Juying Sec. So far so good, but hopefully nothing too fancy from them, especially the teachers.
I have also taken up another student for tuition. I have also took up an offer by U.Les, helping Red Sports to cover netball. I am also helping Netball Singapore to cover Netball Super League.
New lifestyle, I would say.
I am playing my first ever Netball Super League. I am very grateful for the opportunities. I have grown a lot, stronger and better. = ) Congrats to all who achieved their new badges during NSL! =D I will come challenging you guys! =D

You have made an impact
Will I get to see you again and talk to you again? Maybe i will forget you one day.
It is so strange how we started. I did not have a good impression of you when we first met. However, I take my hats of to you with how committed you are to make the season a great one for both the umpires and the players.
I remembered how much I wished for the season but not now. I wished the season did not end, so that I could see you again.
I wished I have asked you out today but I did not have the guts to do so.
Will I get to see you again?

It is not the physical aspect of failure that's scary. It is the mental aspect. When you fail, people look at you differently. People question you if you will succeed in your next attempt. Sometimes' others doubting cause us to doubt ourselves too.
Others may say ''why bother about what others say?'' We only need to answer to ourselves.
What do you think?

I have made 2 major decisions today.
1. reject NS offer
2. play for NSL
They were tough decisions but i have to made them.
Througout the latst few days, I have been thinking what is life. I have come to a conclusion:
Do what you love in life.
Woring in office is seriously something that I don't like, thus, I rejected NS' offer. I enjoy being at the frontline, constantly be in action.
Playing is what I love. I enjoy umpiring too but I know I love playing slightly more than umpiring.

Looking back to 2010
Looking back at 2010, it has been a fruitful and eventful year!
Highlight of 2010:
19 PS
I have grown a lot during the 5 months, both phycially and mentally. I nearly quitted. The coaches have made me realised that result is not what matters. It is the effort and the process that matter most. Thanks everyone for everything! : )
Umpire Development Squad
There were so many things that I couldn't adapt to in the umpire circle. I was just about to quit this too. Iam glad that I stayed on and improved myself. It always feels good to surprise others how your hard work have paid off. Heee :) Thanks to all the coaches and fellow umpires who have helped me!
U Run 2010
This is my first ever race! I did it with other Red Crew, Screws, Jon, Erwin, Mai and Hong Yong. I finished 10th! Haha! It was a fun race. : )
First Semester at SMU
I have tried many things in SMU, including skating for the first time, trekking for the first time. Other first time, include getting a F for exam (aiyoyo!!). There are many ups and downs. These have made me grown up. :) More to come in second semester! :)

Sometimes, I keep telling myself to be open-minded and take in all the advices and evaluate them, afterwhich.
I realised something about myself recently. Once I shut myself down from listen to someone due to an incident, I shut myself down totally from that person regardless of what he/she says. I think this is something bad. I should not take things too personal.

I am excited about going to Australia in 2012, be it to experience a different life or to pursue my passion.
It will not be easy but I will make the best out of what I have.
I realised this about myself while going through things during this period. Attitude is what matters most.
I have also realised the most important thing in live is to experience. Achieving is probably a bonus. The process is really what matter and not the result.

Didn't like today's netball game. I am very angry with Bernice.
Sometimes, I do think that she is too full of herself. If I ever get to umpire her game, I am very sure she will be the first player that I send out. She is giving way too much comments about umpires and even said that she is ashamed to umpire now because the umpiring standard has dropped. If you think you so good, please go ahead, take the whistle and make it to international stage.
I am very annoyed with her as well because she thinks she is always playing well. Given her size and half-hearted runs, it is near impossible to throw her lobs when she has a male opponent. For a thousand and one times, we have told her to stop throwing lobs, she insisted and gave unnecessary turnovers.
Netball is a team sports.
For the CSP, they putting total blame on me, saying that they are not related to this incident. Well done, huh?

A bad day today.
Umpiring in the morning wasn't good. My legs were not moving!
The briefing session in the afternoon for Si Ling Pri Sch CSP Programme wasn't well-organised. The honest truth - I do not have much interest in the project. I wished that it will be cancelled. This is probably the first time that I want a project to be cancelled.
I seriously think that I only have interest in sports. Anything beyond sports, I have no interest in them. Good! Now I know where my interest lies. No more Tritouch in year 2 if I am staying.
SMU netball did not gone as smoothly as i wanted. I feel that I did not play well. I had a hard time reading the play.
Well done, AVP! I am so glad that we win the game! Thanks to Jean's "joke", I smiled ; the only thing that made me smile today.
Thank you everyone who helped me today to overcome all the tough moments!

Exams are over!
Exams are over! I promise I will work hard the next semester! No more last minute revision and consistency throughout the whole semester!
Whether the next semester will be my second semester or my last semester, I have not decided.
No mater which is it, I will still do my best. I will ace all the modules!

No more last minute work!
I promise I will not repeat my mistake for the next semester.
I will be ready for every class. It seriously kills to prepare last minute for exams. Without the readings done for classes and reading them through for the first time for exams, kills! There is no way that I will absorb just before exams.

Sometimes, I refuse to believe that you are what people see you as. When I see with my own eyes, I must say you have thoroughly disappointed me.
I do agree that you have the nice side of you. However, sometimes the things you do really make me feel like scolding you. Sometimes, you simply do things without common sense. I must say I amazed with how selfish you can be at times.
You are no longer a kid. I am very sure you can do much more than this.
Haizz..
What's wrong with being lousy and trying to improve?
I pick up frisbee for the sole purpose of playing it recreationally. I have no intention of playing it competitively.
I am just trying my best to learn and play to my best ability in netball. I may not be good but I am trying to improve. I go down for the game for the sole purpose of having fun and learn to play better. You do not need to condem me.
You are a good player in both netball and frisbee. I respect you for that. I would just appreciate if you can see that everyone don't play as competitive as you do.

Friday, the 13
I feel sorry for you. I didn't know you have received such bad news. Don't give up! Keep going!
Rough and Tough week! 2 Reports, 1 Research Paper, 1 Presentation! ZOMG!
The process of finding umpires for tomorrow matches is a pain! Thank god one of the matches is postponed, lighting my work load.
Leave SMU and study at RP? Its a tough decision, really!

Throw myself into the rubbish bin
Stressful Monday.
So many things to do. And I still can't find umpires for this wed. Everyone is asking everyone else to umpire. Sometimes I just feel so fed up that I just feel like saying into their face that you are not fit to be an umpire. You can be a lousy umpire but you can't be an umpire who has no passion. Sad truth.
Nearly wanted to tear myself up today. I am not having interest in the projects that I need to submit. This is seriously super sian.
Give me my problems, I will throw myself into the rubbish bin.

Week 12
I cannot wait for week 12 to be over. Its such a long week. It did not start well either.
Yesterday's umpiring was crapped! I missed out things that I ususally would blow them. I need to handle the fear of making mistakes better.
I must say I am very tempted to skip training. However, I don't want to allow this.
Things to do for this week:
1) TWC Report (Literaure Review)
2) Business Law Presentation (TODAY!!!)
3) Sunday's Netball Event
4) Academic Writing Research Paper
5) Make notes for TWC Final Exams
6) Make notes for Business Law Final Exams
7) Leadership and Teambuilding Presentation
8) LTB Report
OMG! Long long week. Luckily, I have cancelled my upiring at TP this wed. Phew!
Jia you! It will be over soon!!! : )

Life
The weeks that went by were pretty good I guess. Nonetheless, there were some frustrations here and there.
Played a frisbee tournament for the first time in my life. I had fun! Tempest was just an awesome team! I must say Weiji is a good captain. I admire the way he handles all of us with patience and constantly encouraging the newbies.
The opening match for Mixed Social League was not very pleasant. I did not play to my best ability. I knew I had more to offer. AVP did not play well either, too much opinions I guess. I disliked some of the dirty things I saw and heard during the game both from us and the opponents. This was probably what turned the game sour. We should just let the umpires control the game. I do agree that the umpires did not do a fantastic job. I do know that one of them is not serious in umpiring at all. It is a SOCIAL league. Let's be more friendly.
Up to date, I have umpired 3 games for Year End League. The first was obviously bad. I have not been umpiring actively and exercising regularly. I could not connect myself to the game. the second game was better. This is probably the first game I umpired with confidence. 3 Cheers for myself! ;) I was quite scared before the game started as I heard many things about one of the teams. Third game was not average I guess. I need to move my eyes more often. ;)
We finally made our first trip to Care Corner to carry out our LTB project on computer literacy. It was a good outing. The kids were very active. I was very tired after the session ended. The news of them wanting us to carry out the next computer programme for them in Dec certainly encouraged us to work harder for the project.
I felt bad to blast at Rebecca a few days before the visit to the home. I had a late night the day before the meeting. The turn up was bad and I lost my temper. Sorry, Rebecca.
I collected my Nike Race's race pack today. I think the design for the shirt is all right but not the colour. I look like a traffic police with it. I can't imagine 12 000 traffic police running on 24th Oct.
Today felt like April's Fool Day. KS tricked me. He told me that he left Kallang without umpiring the game. I was really pissed off at that moment. Only when the game was ending, he told me he umpired the game. What a prank!

Life is about having fun
Life is about having fun, isn't it?
Some of us worries about money. I agree that money is important.
Some of us worries about staying single. Having a partner is important, a life partner especially.
Some of worries about our studies.
Some of us worries about ranking and status.
All of us have one thousand and one things to worry about. If we put some of these aside and start having fun in life, you will reslise you are achieve more. I am not saying that what we are worrying is trivial. Worrying them will not help you to acheieve them.
In fact, worrying will only cause you to worry more. Take a step back and relax your shoulders. Its not easy but when you do so, you will see that the world is beautiful and colourful. ;)
Do things that you love and like. Don't do things for any other reasons. You may still get what you want at the end of the day but isn't then life becomes meaningless? Focus on the process. Result is secondary.
Really.

Bad
What's love? I asked myself.
Please don't make me lose the faith in love. I hate the fact that when you like someone, the someone like someone else.

Individual Review
I had individual review wit the 19s coaches today.
It is good to hear the truth. However, reality is always cruel. I have 2 choices now. Work damn hard from now on to make it to the 21s or give up and go for other things. It is certainly hard to choose.
I have the thought of giving up netball and focus on umpiring and running. Emm.. will this be the right choice?

- We do not have committed players to train at club level.
- Studies are being prioritised before sports
- Players refuse to grow with the standard of play and insist umpire to go with the lousy play.
- It is expensive to take part in sports. (Particularly team sports)
- We do not have enough money to develop the sports industry in Singapore (though it seems a lot)
- We strongly believe that only foreign talents will win medals for Singapore.
- The allowances and salary aren't enough for the atlethes.

Hang in there and you will make it
No matter how long the journey is, I will keep trying to reach the destination and start another new journey.
I will work as hard as I can to get to where I want to be!
Jia you!

This is what I call life
A CREED TO LIVE BY
(Author: Nancyesims)
Don't undermine your worth by comparing
yourself with others,
It is because we are different that each
of us is special.
Don't set your goals by what other people
deem important,
Only you know what is best for you.
Don't take for granted the things closest
to your heart,
Cling to that as you would your life, for without
them life is meaningless.
Don't let your life slip through your fingers by living
in the past or the future.
By living your life one day at a time, you live all the
days of your life.
Don't give up when you still have something to give
Nothing is really over … until the moment
you stop trying.
Don't be afraid to admit that you are less
than perfect,
It is the fragile thread that binds us to each other.
Don't be afraid to encounter risks,
It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.
Don't shut love out of your life by saying it's
impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love is to give love.
The fastest way to lose love is to hold on too tightly,
And the best way to keep love is to give it wings.
Don't dismiss your Dreams. To be without
dreams is to be without hope.
To be without hope is to be without purpose.
Don't run through life so fast that you forget
where you've been,
But also know where you're going.
Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored
every step of the way.

Day out at Sentosa after World Cup
I am hell tired now. Watched World cup with Red Crew. It was a session felt with laughter and fun. The game between England and USA was crap! I can't believe that they draw 1-1. :(
After the last game, we concuss on the sofa. We then left U.Les house at 6.30am. I reached home at around 7am. However, my parents aren't home yet and I forgot to bring my house key. I managed to catch an hour of sleep before heading out to give tuition.
After tuition, I head to Sentosa to meet KS and his friends to play volleyball, a sports that I am trying hard to like it. We played other sports too, basketball, frisbee and a little soccer. I had fun but I felt stressed playing with them especially when KS give me that come on face.
Got to go now. I am super tired after having only an hour of sleep for the past 30 plus hours. Bye!

Blogging at Bishan Sports Hall
For the first time, I am doing blogging at a sports hall. Supposed to cover a gymnastic event. The website wrote 9am-7pm. However, they are only starting their first day at 6pm. It is good and bad, I guess. The good part is I get to go and watch netball at Scape. The bad part is I came at the wrong time and need to come back later.
Another reason why I can blog at a sports hall is I finally have my personal laptop. YEAH! I bought Lenovo G460. Thanks to XZ! without his help, I will not be able to have the laptop. Happy, sha lalalala... ;)
Over the last few days, I don't feel good after myself. I think i am a very rude person and I talk too much. I always interrupt others when they are talking. Bad! Bad!

Ace your interview
Before Job interview
•If you are short listed for a Job Interview, it is important to check the exact Job Interview location (since the Job Interview location may differ from the actual workplace), time of the Job Interview and of course the name of the company.
•It would be useful to note the availability of the transportation services if you are unfamiliar with the Job Interview location. In addition, bring along the contact number of the person in-charge of the Job Interview session just in case you are unable to find the location or you are unexpectedly held up.
•Based on the second guideline, give yourself ample allowance for travelling. It is always better to be early than late. Always remember that unexpected events jams may delay your journey.
•Regardless of the jobs that you are applying, always dress smartly for the Job Interview. There is no need to overdress for the occasion. Wearing a tie would suffice for males instead of a jacket. For females, avoid wearing short skirts or revealing clothes. For both genders, always wear covered footwear.
•Remember to bring along relevant documents like your certificates, identification card, driver’s license and passport (for those without identification card).
During Job Interview
•Knock the door before you enter the room if the Job Interviewer(s) are already waiting inside. On the other hand, if you are waiting for the Job Interviewer(s) to arrive, stand up and greet them the moment they enter the room.
•Give a firm handshake and greet them warmly (e.g. Good Afternoon Sir/Madam). If you know their names, just greet them by their first name would suffice (e.g. Mr Lim).
•During the conversation with the Job Interviewer(s), it is important to maintain eye-contact at all times. However, do not stare at them!
•Speak clearly and confidently, do not try to rush through your words.
•Recognize that it is only natural to be nervous. Take a deep breath and try not to feel so self-conscious.
•When you are asked a specific question, do not talk as though you are regurgitating all the information that you have remembered. Employers are looking for someone who can think and apply their knowledge, and not someone who can remember an annual report.
•Do not try to over impress your Job Interviewers. The Job Interviewers are only humans. They may be interviewing candidates that may one day replace their jobs. To put it simply, if they feel threatened by you, they will not give you the job. Appear humble and not boastful when you are asked to describe yourself. Even though you may have years of relevant working experience and job knowledge, do not behave as though you know more than the interviewer.
•Some Job Interviewers may try all means to intimidate you in order to assess your suitability for a highly demanding work environment. You need to remain composed throughout the Job Interview and avoid feeling upset or nervous.
•Be honest with your answers. Never try to pretend as though you know something when you actually don’t. You may get away with it during the Job Interview, but certainly not when you start working. Reply with answers such as “Although I do not have any working experience/knowledge in that area, I am interested and willing to learn”.
•When candidates are asked to described their weaknesses, be honest about it, but not overly honest until you lose the job! Never give reasons sounding like this: “The problem with me is that I am too hardworking and don’t know when to stop!” Try this for a change: “I believe my current weakness is the lack of relevant working experience/job knowledge……I believe another weakness of mine is the inability to speak a third language such as Japanese”.
•If you are asked what your expected salary is, try to give them a range (e.g. $1800-$2200) that you are comfortable with and state that you are opened to negotiation.
•Nearing the end of the Job Interview, most employers will ask you whether you have any questions to ask. The last thing you need to say is “no”! Do not raise questions pertaining to the remunerations, at least not during the first Job Interview. Ask questions relating to the company and job scope to demonstrate your interest, sincerity and enthusiasm.
After the Job Interview
•Please ensure that you remain contactable at all times and check your mail box and email regularly.
•If possible, send out a “thank-you” letter to the Job Interviewer to thank them for their time and for the opportunity to attend the Job Interview.

Ever felt walking is a hassle? I feel it now. I have been ignoring the pain in my archilles tendon, thinking that it is due to tight muscles and stretching would solve the problem. In reality, tight muscles is only one of the many reasons. It is over-used too.. and other unknown reasons.
Sometime, I can't walk due to the pain. :(
Not good! I don't like to rest!!

Life
It has been some time since I last blogged. Oh well...
I made it to 19s squad but not the team.
Honestly, I am no longer seeing my passion like the way it did when I was still in JC. I do not see myself fighting. I have no more motivation to play netball. I feel like a dead fish in Nike. I do not see the hardworking and passionate Hui Mui in 19s. I do not even see myself enjoying netball in AVP.
I don't feel like going back to school either. I miss school very much but I do not have any passion in studying. Not knowing what I want to do in the future does not help the situation either.
I am feeling frustrated with my eldest brother. I really hope I can understand what he is thinking so that we can help him to be happier at home. Sometime, I dislike going home because I do not wish to see him creating havoc at home. I have a fear of those noises that he creates.
I want to do better at Red Sports. I want to reach the stage where I can published my own articles. I want to be a better REDcrew where I can contribute more in Red Sports!

780th post! Amazing! This is how much blogging I have done.
Life is amazing too, how far life has come.. To come to think of it, sometimes I wonder what's life. I am amazed with what people Living through day by day laughing at what others do. Some people live their life focusing on getting things right and ignore what others say about them (I am impressed with these people!). Some live their life gossiping about others and listen to the rumours.
Putting that aside, not wanting to kill too many brain cells, I learnt a great life lesson yesterday - be sincere. It takes courage to be sincere. People may view you as a fool but ignore them. You will move people who see your sincerity and there will be people who feel and see them. Sincerity is all it takes to improve oneself.

Chinese New Year
The first day of New Year was very quiet. I did not meet more than half of my relactives this year. The day was really quiet. The second day was as per usual. The third day was fun!
Meh and I hit Sam's house at 10 plus to eat. Then we headed to Jem's house to gamble! I lost 2 bucks :( But it was fun! Lots of laughter! We disperse at around 3.30pm as Sam zoom down to town to meet his girlfriend. They are so cute! Sam made brownie and spagettite for his girlfriend when they are going to eat out. Furthermore, Sam brought cheese and icing and topping for the brownie along too to add them on the spot! What a cute and sweet couple!
After dispersing, I went over to Uncle Les' house! We played Mafia War (another version of Werewolf). Colin was trying so hard to convince everyone while screws was always the first to be eliminated! haha! Had a good laugh! We had steamboat at U.Les' house too.
Then on the fourth day of new year, Screws, Van and Von came over to my house to watch ABL. Patriots thrashed SMB (and they claimed their crown yesterday.). Laughed and took photos! :) Fun FUN!!

I am opening up my university courses choices. I closed all my options and only left 2 to choose from, which I thought this shouldn't be the way, which is why I open up more options.
I used to narrow down my options to only Sports Science and Physiotherapy. However, I thought I should include, Horticulture, Accountancy, Life Science courses into my list of options too. emm..
New Year is coming! I am so going to make it a fun new year!!!

Umpiring was my life for the last of whole week. I was quite disappointed with myself in many aspects. I think I was too arrogant about myself. Also, I am disappointed with my progress in umpiring. I think it's too slow.
Saturday's Daisy Tan Carnival totally drain me out! My legs felt as though they have just completed a full marathon! My legs are still feeling tired. Had fun on Saturday though!
There will be more challenges to come this week! Jia You! And stay focus during games!

Been a few days since I last blogged. It has been a challenging week, learning how to face failures. Not easy.
I was very angry on Friday with the juniors and blasted at them during training. Captain and vice-captains of the senior teams were ill-disciplined and I was very disgusted by it.
My body cannot take the stress and told me to rest today. :(

Life
I had a shaky 2010 start. But I am sure things will only get better. :)
Right now, I am giving tuition and doing umpiring. Sometime, going back to Hillgrove to train the young ones.
I am thinking if I should find a full-time job for a few months or should I just continue volunteering for Red Sports and also volunteer at Alexandra Hospital. Em.. I can't make the decision.
I miss school. It feels less stressful and less things to be concern with when studying.

Sometimes, I wonder if I have taken the wrong route back then, after O Level. Now that I realise I would like to do Sports Science, and Sports Science in RP can be converted to Bachelor by taking a year in an university overseas, I wondered if poly could have been a better route for me.
I am someone who needs to constantly keep myself busy. I cannot keep myself busy now since I have no school. And I have fears for my A Level. =( Sigh..
Right now, I am wondering if I should get a fulltime job. But if I do so, I will miss out on schools' games. HOW?!?!?!

People of 2009
I have came across many new friends in 2009. I am glad that I have met them. They have lightened my life in one way or another. Without them, my 2009 wouldn't have been that colourful.
A special thanks to these people:
Mr Leroy Choo.. for introducing me to AVP.
Michael Ong.. he has taught me a lot and always sending me him whenever possible!
AVP.. the fun and laughter that we have shared have certainly added colours to 2009. Night Cycling, Birthday Celebrations, Going to tournaments together..
Khiok Sing.. for your information.. I have know him for 4 years, since 2005 and though I have his email, I have never spoken to him until I am in AVP. He has been a good friend, guiding me in netball and umpiring.
Umpires and umpire coaches.. especially Eric.. Have known him for very long but never really spoken to him. He has been a good umpire coach guiding me along, giving me advice. Not to forget all the umpires whom we joke together, gossip together.. Uncle Liew, Christopher, Elaine, Jacqueline and many others.. (There are too many umpires to be named! Sorry!)
Nigel.. Another Zenith guy who I have known for a long time but only talked to recently. I have always admire him as a shooter.
Team JJ Netball.. I truly love this group of netballers and team-mates - Ever fighting so hard on court. Thanks Wan Ting and Taahira who are always there for me! I will miss you guys! A big thanks to Ms Ng and Ms Choo for bringing us through the tournament!
Hong Kong University Netball team.. They came to Singapore for Tri-annual Inter-Varsity Games in July. I enjoyed mysef being around with them during that short period of time. Hope to see them again soon!
08S02.. People whom I weren't close to in J1 but A Level has drawn us closer. There are so much memories with 08S02! See you guys soon at chalet!
REDcrew.. Screws, Van, JW, Yvonne, U. Les and more.. My internship wouldn't have been fun without you guys! Gathering at u.les house, covering AYG... Those good times!
James Ong.. He is a member of Netball Singapore. He always encourages me whenever he sees me feeling not confident with umpiring. Thanks James!
All the friends that I met during netball games.. Alice, SAFSA players, Aciers players, AJC Netball Team, VJC Netball Team and all the other players that I have played with and palyed against! Thanks for all the good games we have played!
NTU Handball Team.. I have only been to their training for once but I have enjoyed myself. Thanks!
Teachers in JJC.. Ms Huang, Ms Goh, Dr Gan and all the other teachers who have taught me be it in class or outside classroom. Without them, I would not have learnt so much during my JC days.
Of course not forgetting all the friends who have been there for me throughout the years, Sam, Marianne, Eng Chuan, Li Ling and many others! And my parents who are always there for me no matter what!
Thanks people, for such a wondering year!

I finally realise what went wrong. I am not doing things because I want to do it but because others ask me to do so.
I have been wondering why am I not happy with what I am doing. I do not feel the soul in me when I do things. This is simply because I did not put my heart into them. I need a mind of my own to decide things. I should not be following what everyone says. It can be a great oppportunity but if I do not have the heart for it, I will not treasure the opportunity.

Feeling satisfied

Busy week surviving on 4 - 5 hours of sleep each day.
The busy week began on 6 Dec, Sunday. There was International Youth Sports Challenge at Sports School in the morning. 6 Dec also marks the start of Nations Cup.
From Monday to Wednesday, it was a standard repetition of Netball workshop in the morning and Nations Cup in the evening. Despite feeling tired, I enjoyed the workshop and watching the Nations Cup. Go Singapore! Fight ON!
I have learnt a lot from the workshop. Now that I know so much more about umpiring, I am thinking what should I be focusing on for 2010. Umpire or Player?

Can someone please help me do my blogskin? hehe. I know what I want my next blog skin to look like but I am reluctant to create it as I know it is very troublesome and time comsuming. Worst of all, I have lost most of my knowledge about html codes. ): Any nice souls out there?
Hui Mui has been so disciplined. :) She stays out of umpiring and netball-ing to rest her knee and she does physiotherapy at home regularly. Isn't she awesome? (: I hope the rest will get my knee into better shape soon! (:
Swimming on the go at the moment. I hope I can swim in the evening later. (: The last few evenings have been raining heavily. ):
Nations Cup coming soon! Time to get busy. Also, time to produce my brain cells!
I have finally washed up my Adidas tennis shoes. The shoes were coated with layers of dirt and dust! It looks so white now after the wash! (:
Reading on the go now! (:

Fun!
These few days have been great!
On Tuesday night, I went for AVP training. It has been nearly 2 months since I last been to NUS courts. On Wednesday night, I went to attend Jill Mcintosh Shooting Session. It was fun! After the session, had a chat with Eric about Sports Science. He has provided me with a lot of insight about Sports Science and the universities.
On Thursday night, I went to Kallang to watch AVP Ole's game and to umpire after which. It has been a long time since I last umpired. The game was mild with fouls. A pretty controlled game. On Friday, I met up with Yi Xuan and we went shopping! We walked around Vivocity before heading down to Orchard where I finally found the dress!
I went swimming yesterday morning with Yi Xuan. I finally know how to swim. I am so happy! Thanks Yi Xuan. After 3 years of inconsistant learning, I finally know how to swim. More to come! Meanwhile, master breaststroke first! After swimming, I went home to take a nap before heading down to Uncle Les' house for Red Party! Lots of fun! I have not met them after the last lunch we had at Crystal Jade.
More enjoyment and excitement to come!! (:

Where do I go now?
Where do I go now?
How far am I going to go in netball? How far am I going to go in umpiring? How far am I going to go in my studies? What am I going to do during the upcoming weeks? What skills am I going to take up? Should I go to work?
Where do I go now??

Poor working ethics
I have very poor working ethics. I mix up emotions with work very easily.Once a problem sets in, my efficiency level drops drastically by refusing to adapt. I feel that I have handle the umpires issue poorly. I feel that I could have provided better option without venting my frustration. I think Alicia has good working ethics. I like the way she gets things done. Despite having much frustration and limitation, she will make sure that she gets things done no matter what.
I also feel that I can be more encouraging.

I thought of changing my blog skin. But I realised.. Too much effort at this point of time. I have totally lost touch of the codes and everything. It will take days and even weeks to figure out the courts. Thus, I decided to leave my blog skin aside for now though I really wish to change the blog skin.
Its 17 Nov today. Another 40 plus days to 2010! Time flies really fast. The other day, XZ asked me what I will be doing after A Level. I told him I have yet to thought about it. Sometime, I feel that future is scary. There are so much uncertainty. I am fear of facing the society, honestly. I will be a newbie again but this time round in the society. It will all be a brand new journey.
I was chatting with Shu Ping yesterday. I come to realisation that as we grow up we listen lesser and we want others to pay more attention of what we have to say. It is good to have our set of opinions. However, it is more important to strike a good balance of listening of what others are thinking. To a large extent, it is ironic. Adults often tell their children to talk less and listen more. Remember how your teachers and parents always remind you about you have 2 ears and only 1 mouth? On ther other hand, as we grow up we are not doing what we will tell our children. How ironic is this?
I think it is very important of listening to others. I remember how I use to shut off others with their opinions and miss out and serveral important information that I can find nowhere else. Frankly speaking, I am still doing so now but I am trying to kick away this habit.
Tomorrow is 18th Nov. Finally! I need a brand new month for my phone bill. My phone bill is so going to be hell expensive this month! 800 sms + HOURS of outgoing calls!! BAO!!!

It has been a long time since I last updated my blog. 10 days to be exact. Notes and TYSs have been my best friends. :) Anyway today's topic for the blog is my mum.
I think that she always put me and my siblings before everything and everyone else. She always ensures that we have sufficient food, enough entertainment, ensure our safety, give us the best that she can.
She is a great mum!

A Fruitful Day?
I have completed Power Series and Differentiation Practice Qns from TYS, VJC GP Prelim Paper 2 and Homeostatsis. I think it can be more fruitful if I have not spent time eating too much. I has better cut down on my consumption of food from McDonalds. It is terrible! I am not exercise yet I am eating so much! Bad Bad Bad!!

A Div 09
Looking at the girls of my age playing POLITE, it simply makes me miss those A Div times. Those sweat, those trainings, those heartaching games.

I am finally studying. I will totally stop playing netball. No more netball trainings for me. I promise. I feel the enlightenment today. I have not being giving my best. I will give my best shot this time and do to my best ability.
For the past 2 weeks, I have been playing netball almost every other day. I simply wanted this because I wanted to play as much netball as possible before I take a long break. Thanks KS and XZ, for the games.
Over the weekend, AVP was at Children's Day Street Netball Carnival. Shooting Stars came in 4th and Nua Kings and Queen came in 5th. We drew with 3rd in terms of points. However, we lost to them. Thus, coming in 4th. The carnival was great, plenty of laughter and fun.
PWC will be starting next week. Jia You everyone! Get well soon to all the injured people!! haha!
I will probably be cutting down on blogging as well. :(

Venting frustrations
I am getting just so frustrated about myself.
I still feel that disappointment from the last lost. I am feeling frustrated that I am not doing well in studies. I am angry with myself for not performing up to the level that I want to in netball.
Wanted to type more but decided not to in the end.
BYE!

All of a sudden, I have this feeling of typing something.
I vomit on Wed morning, 3.30am. The vomit stinks! On tues training, I ate durain cake after training. Happy Birthday Shu Ping! (It was SP's birthday on Mon) The vomit smelt of durian. Followed by diarrhoea. I was hell tired by Wed afternoon since I did not sleep the whole night. I visited the doctor then. I had some problems with my intestines. I did not go to school today either to rest at home. Feeling much better now :)
My left knee is falling sick. :( Will be going to polyclinic tomorrow and see how things go.
Buck Up! REVISE!

Anyway, today at Ngee Ann Poly was fun. :)

I can finally blog. I was very tempted to blog just now but I told myself that I can only blog after I have finished my work.
Last term in JJC started today. I am quite disappointed with myself today when I got back the Chemistry papers today. Paper 3 was way below my expectation. I found out why its below my expectation though. BUCK UP, HUI MUI!
People are complaining about their life. Oh well, saying as if the rest of us are at fault. I shall just ignored it.
I hate the feeling of not being able to watch TV at home. :( I pity my second brother.
Yesterday was fun! I went for Mixx n Match Street Netball Challenge 2009. The umpiring was much better than Pesta Sukan. But I think the registration can be further improved.
After the game, both the teams + KS went for lunch together. I regretted not bathing before leaving Kallang Netball Center. :( We went to Ri Ben Chun (I have no idea what is the English name of the Restaurant.) Then, we headed to Orchard with 6 people remained. Shopped a little bit. Off we went to Billy Bomber for Chocolate and Cheese Fondew. (Sinful, huh?) And off to MOVIE! We watched The Time Traveller's Wife. I was totally lost from the movie for the first half an hour. All thanks to GRACE! haha! Overall, the movie wasn't too bad. However, a climax could have been better.
After movie, off to Pasta Shop for dinner. (Another sinful moment!) I loved the pasta. They were GREAT!
Saturday was fun too! Nigel owes me a KIKAPO! haha! I went down to NIE for umpiring. I missed out a few calls. Work harder!

I have a lot of thoughts on my mind. I have a few frustrations too. Right now, sms-ing someone to get rid of one of the frustrations.
However, I find it very difficult to pen down my thoughts. I feel very uncomfortable in giving my thoughts a tangible form. Emm..
Lunch out with Panda and Vanissa was fun! :D photos coming up.

:( I accidentally deleted an important email that I spent half hour typing and need to re-type it out. I have just sent the email out.
Things are starting to pile up. Stress!
I went to CCAB for some netball today. I didn't have the drive to play netball today. In another words, I am getting a little bored with netball. Yet, this week is fully filled with netball action.
Today - Friendly
Tues - Trg at Kallang
Wed - Hgv trg
(I am way too lazy to type things out in full right now after spending 1 hour in total to type out the email.)
Thur - Umpiring
Fri - Hgv trg
Sat - Umpiring
Sun - Carnival
OM Tian. A lot eh? But no worry, I will make sure I study very hard throughout this week of school holiday. I must not make the same mistake that I committed during Prelim. Jia You!
Ciao! I need to go to sleep before I am late again.

Good News! Our proposal is being accepted. We will work hard to make it a successful event. :):) Triple joy for today. :):)
More shopping! :):) I need to beautify my drawers and waredrobe with more colours. :) Save more money and spend more! :) hehe!

netball
I have so much things to pen down today.
Things to work on:
1. Left hand pass
2. Proper landing. Always land with outer foot.
3. Control ball with only one hand.
4. Fake. (when passing)
5. Dodges. (weight on outer foot)
6. Most importantly, Fitness.
7. Watch lots of game :)
Jia You! Discipline and work hard towards the ultimate goal!
Went to Kallang to have some netball today. Oh no! My stamina is dropping drastically after not training for months! How should I strike an excellent balance between revision and training?
I have just so much worries on my mind. It can be frustrating at many occasion to be a typical gemini who wants to try everything. ):
