English, I used to hate you!

I am amazed with how I am still catching up with blog. The blog is 8 years old and still going strong.

I used to hate writing and reading. I have learnt to appreciate it and see the importance to them well. I am still not at my best yet. However, I am consistently trying to improve my language ability. I used to dislike languages, especially English. Chinese was not much of a problem for me but English was. Every year, I need to pass English in order to be promoted. It was a pain to ensure that I pass my English.

During my JC days, I picked up journalism. It was difficult to put a piece of news together. To begin with, it was tough to write a proper sentence without grammar error. Forget about the vocabulary. That's way to tough. Years in Red Sports have definitely helped to improve my writing ability and changed the way I view language.

There are still many words that I do not understand their meanings but I will continue to try. Language has empowered me. Not only can I communicate with other people, it allows me to catch up with the events that are happening around the world. Most importantly, language helps to deliver a message.

I am happy with what I have achieved thus far. This is not it. I want to be better at it.
